The Colorado Mammoth STEM Lacrosse Program combines STEM and lacrosse using the Colorado Mammoth STEM Lacrosse Curriculum. Elementary schools and after school programs participated in a teacher training, received a STEM kit for their classroom, access into our Learning Management System called Brightspace, and tickets to a Colorado Mammoth game.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Science of Baseball Program Presented by Resolution Copper presented STEM and baseball curriculum to 89-3rd through 8th grade math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout Arizona. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Chase Field that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students. To finish out the program, classes were invited back to Chase Field for a D-backs STEM Showcase to participate in hands-on activities and present their own Science of Baseball themed projects to attendees of the game! To date, more than 700 teachers have been trained and more than 70,000 students have been impacted by the program
The Compton MLB Youth Academy Science of Baseball Summer Camp presented STEM, baseball, and softball curriculum to 60 campers throughout Compton, CA. The program included STEM activity bags for students and workbooks. To finish out the summer, campers were invited to Angel Stadium for a Science of Baseball STEM Showcase to participate in hands-on activities, attend a game, and present projects! To date, more than 500 campers have attended and been impacted by the program.
The Chicago Cubs STEAM Education Program Presented by Horizon presented STEAM and baseball curriculum to more than 800 youth and families throughout Chicago, IL. The program started off with a STEAM Fair at Wrigley Field that included workbooks for youth, activities around the stadium, and a showcase of student STEAM projects. To finish out the program, project participants were invited back to Wrigley Field for a STEAM Summer Camp to participate in hands-on activities and get a tour of the facility in a small, private summer camp! To date, more than 1,000 Chicagoans have been impacted by the program.
The Dallas Mavericks Science of Basketball Presented by PwC presented STEM and basketball curriculum to 100-5th grade math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout the Dallas Independent School District. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Buckeye Commons Recreation Center that included digital resources for teachers, workbooks for students, and a visit from Rolando Blackman and a virtual visit from Dwight Powell! To finish out the program, one class at Ann Blanton Academy attended a private Science of Basketball Field Trip Day at their school to participate in hands-on activities and received a visit from Mavs guests! To date, 160 teachers have been trained and more than 11,000 students have been impacted by the program.

The FC Cincinnati Foundation Science of Soccer Program combines STEM and soccer using the FC Cincinnati Foundation Science of Soccer Curriculum. Hundreds of students will come for Field Trip Days at TQL stadium to participate in various FC Cincinnati Foundation Science of Soccer Stations and activities. Each student will receive a STEM box filled with materials and a FC Cincinnati Foundation Science of Soccer Workbook.
The Fiesta Bowl Charities STEM Football Program presented STEM and football curriculum to 25 middle school math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout Maricopa County. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at the Ziegler Fiesta Bowl Museum that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students. In the weeks following the workshop, teachers and their students were invited to a virtual Sideline Chat with Arizona Cardinals, Sports Business, and ASU Football guests to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To finish out the program, classes were invited to State Farm Stadium for a Fiesta Bowl Charities STEM Football Program Field Trip Day to participate in hands-on activities and get a tour of the facility! To date, 25 teachers have been trained and more than 3,500 students have been impacted by the program.
Dynamo & Dash Charities Kickstart STEM Program Presented by ConocoPhillips STEM and soccer curriculum to 30 elementary & middle school grade math, science, P.E., after school & STEM teachers throughout the greater Houston area. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Shell Energy Stadium that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students. Teachers & students will also be invited to a STEM Field Trip Day at Shell Energy Stadium to participate in hands-on activities. To date, 97 teachers have been trained and more than 20,000 students have been impacted by the program.
The Kansas City Royals Science of Sport Program presented STEM and baseball curriculum to 47-3rd through 8th grade math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout Kansas City, KS and Kansas City, MO. The program started off with 2 teacher professional development workshops at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy and Kauffman Stadium that included a kit of resources for teachers and digital workbooks for students. To finish out the program, classes were invited to Kauffman Stadium for a Science of Baseball STEM Showcase to participate in hands-on activities and see Kauffman Stadium in person! To date, 101 teachers have been trained and more than 22,000 students have been impacted by the program.
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Science of Baseball Program presented STEM, baseball, and softball curriculum to 60-3rd through 8th grade math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout LAUSD South, Compton USD, and Inglewood USD. The program started off with a virtual teacher professional development workshop that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students. In the weeks following the workshop, teachers and their students were invited to a virtual Dugout Chat with Dodgers Performance Science team guests to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To finish out the program, classes were invited to a Science of Baseball Field Trip Day to participate in hands-on activities and get a tour of the facility! To date, 90 teachers have been trained and 9,000 students have been impacted by the program.
LAFC FIT Presented by Kaiser Permanente focuses on creating a health and wellness curriculum for teachers and students located in Los Angeles. The program will kick off with a teacher training for up to 20 middle school P.E. teachers at BMO Stadium. Each teacher in attendance will also receive a health and wellness kit for their classroom, access into our Learning Management System called Brightspace,school visits, and a field trip day at Expo Center.
The LAFC Science of Soccer Program Presented by Toyota brought STEM and Soccer curriculum to 30-3rd through 8th grade math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout the greater LA area. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Banc of California Stadium that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students. In the weeks following the workshop, classes received a personal school visit to participate in hands-on activities at their campus . To finish out the program, teachers and their students were invited to the Exposition Center for a Science of Soccer Field Trip with special LAFC guests to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce, and engage in all kinds of Science of Soccer stations! To date, 110 teachers have been trained and more than 9,000 students have been impacted by the program.
The Memphis Grizzlies Science of Basketball Program combines STEM and basketball using the Memphis Grizzlies Science of Basketball curriculum to 20 3rd-8th grade math, science, P.E. & STEM teachers throughout Memphis. The program will start off with a teacher professional development workshop which includes a kit of resources for teachers and tickets to a Memphis Grizzlies Game. In the weeks to follow the workshop, teachers and their students will be invited to a virtual Courtside Chat with Memphis Grizzlies guests to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. In the spring, classes will be invited to the Memphis Grizzlies Science of Basketball Field Trip Day to participate in hands-on activities Science of Basketball Activities.
The New Orleans MLB Youth Academy Science of Baseball Summer Camp presented STEM and baseball curriculum to 60 campers throughout New Orleans MLB Youth Academy. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at a camp located at New Orleans MLB Youth Academy that included Science of Baseball worksheets, student STEM Kits, baseball gear and workbooks for students.To finish out the program, campers were invited to the New Orleans MLB Youth Academy for a Field Day to participate in hands-on activities and get a tour of the facility! To date, more than 500 campers have been impacted by the program.
The New York Knicks Science of Basketball Program Powered by CDW and Microsoft Surface presented STEM and basketball curriculum to 27-5th through 8th grade math, science, P.E. & STEM teachers throughout The Bronx. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Mullaly Community Center that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students. In the weeks following the workshop, teachers and their students were invited to a virtual Courtside Chat with New York Knicks and CDW staff guests and alumni John Wallace to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To finish out the program, classes were invited back to Mullaly Community Center for a New York Knicks Science of Basketball Field Trip Powered by CDW and Microsoft Surface to participate in hands-on activities, and teachers and students were given New York Knicks swag bags! To date, 44 teachers have been trained and about 6,000 students have been impacted by the program.
The Phillies Phundamentals Program Sponsored by Chick-Fil-A presented STEM Summer camp and baseball curriculum to 20-3rd through 5th grade math, science, P.E., & STEM teachers throughout the Greater Philly Area. The program started off by bringing STEM baseball curriculum to various Philadelphia Parks & Recreation centers. We developed curriculum for a Student STEM Workbook including lessons on player positions, strike zone, fielding percentage, launch angle and base running. Campers learned about how STEM affects their daily lives, and exposed students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To finish out the program, we set up Science of Baseball activity stations that used baseball to teach and reinforce academic skills. To date, 500 elementary and middle school students have been impacted by the program.
The Rays Science of Baseball Program combines STEM and baseball using the Rays Science of Baseball Curriculum. Approximately 95 students participated in the Rays Science of Baseball Summer Camp Program. Each student received a Rays Science of Baseball Student STEM Workbook and were invited to a Rays game at the end of summer camp programming.
The San Antonio Spurs Science of Basketball presented STEM and basketball curriculum to 35-6th-8th grade math, science, P.E. & STEM teachers throughout the San Antonio Independent School District and Austin Independent School District. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at AT&T Center that included a kit of resources for teachers and tickets to a San Antonio Spurs Game and a virtual workshop for Austin ISD teachers. In the weeks following the workshop, teachers and their students were invited to a virtual Courtside Chat with San Antonio Spurs Staff guests to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To finish out the program, classes were invited to the AT&T Center for a San Antonio Science of Basketball Field Trip Day to participate in hands-on activities as well as a live panel with San Antonio Spurs Staff. Each teacher and student who participated in the Field Trip were also given tickets to a San Antonio Spurs Game! To date, 35 teachers have been trained and more than 6,500 students have been impacted by the program.
The Science of Sport STEM Program Powered by the LA84 Foundation presented STEM and Olympic sport curriculum to 42-3rd through 8th grade math, science, and P.E. teachers throughout the greater Los Angeles area. The program started off with a series of virtual teacher professional development workshops that included a kit of resources for teachers. In the weeks following the workshop, teachers and their students were invited to a virtual Podium Chat with USA Climbing athlete Kyra Conde to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To date, 127 teachers have been trained and 130,000 students have been impacted by the program.
The Seattle Sounders Science of Soccer Presented by the Rave Foundation presented STEM and soccer curriculum to 17 teachers and community program staff throughout the greater Seattle area. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Lumen Field that included a kit of resources for teachers and workbooks for students in English and Spanish. In the weeks following the workshop, teachers and their students were invited to a virtual Sideline Chat with Seattle Sounders guests to learn about how STEM affects their daily lives, and to expose students to careers in the STEM and sports workforce. To date, 50 teachers have been trained and more than 10,000 students and families have been impacted by the program.
The Science of Sport YMCA Find My Genius presented STEM and multi-sport curriculum to campers throughout Thousand Oaks,CA and Oak Park,CA. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at a camp located at Conejo Valley Elementary and Sumac Elementary that included student STEM kits and workbooks for students. To finish out the program, all 220 students were invited to Conejo Elementary for a Rams Field Day to participate in hands-on activities and get a tour of the facility! To date, 220 students have been impacted by the program.
The Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy Science of Baseball Presented by Nike presented STEM and baseball curriculum to 60 campers throughout West Dallas, TX. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Rangers Youth Baseball Academy that included Science of Baseball Workbooks for campers, STEM kits and baseball gear bags. To finish out the program, classes were invited to Rangers Stadium for a Science of Baseball STEM Showcase to participate in hands-on activities and watch a game! To date, more than 200 campers have been impacted by the program.
The Washington Nationals Youth Academy Science of Baseball presented STEM and baseball curriculum to campers throughout the D.C area. The program started off with a teacher professional development workshop at Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy in Washington DC that included Student STEM Kits, baseball gear bags, and worksheets for the students. To date, 60 campers have been impacted by the program.
The Starting STEM Program Sponsored by Lenovo presented STEM and soccer curriculum to 20-3rd through 5th grade math, science, P.E. & STEM teachers throughout the Raleigh area. The program started off with two virtual teacher professional development workshops that included a kit of resources for teachers and a tablet donated by Lenovo. To finish out the program, classes were invited to WakeMed Soccer Park for a Starting STEM Field Trip Day Sponsored by Lenovo to participate in hands-on activities! To date, 20 teachers have been trained and 1,000 students have been impacted by the program.
