Her Time To Play Sports & STEM Panel Discussion

On April 22nd on YouTube live, Science of Sport participated in the Her Time To Play Sports & STEM Panel Discussion featuring WNBA Atlanta Dream’s Elizabeth Williams, Coach Liz Mills, FIBA’s Usher Komugisha, and University of Arizona’s Dr. Ricardo Valerdi!

Her Time To Play Sports & STEM is focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game through Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math. Female athletes and trailblazers will also lead an engaging and empowering discussion about career opportunities in sports, share strategies on facing adversity, and offer advice on overcoming self-doubt to reach one’s goals.

Science of Sport will also introduce Science of Basketball lessons for students such as:

🏀 Geometry of a Basketball Court

🏀 Measuring Your Wingspan
